Biography: 

Engaged in the exploration of textile microbiomes. My current focus revolves around understanding their intricate dynamics in the development of permastink, the (unpleasant) smell that won’t wash out of textile products.

In a past life, during my doctoral research, I studied the individualising drivers of gut microbial properties in the in vitro gut simulator called the SHIME. Thereafter, the goal was to steer the simulator towards a more individualised in vitro approach.
